
Linares is a Super-Grandmaster chess tournament held in Spain each year that consists of ten rounds of Round-Robin style format (each player plays the same opponent twice, once with the white pieces, and once with the black).
Finishing with 6.5/10.0 points in a tough field, Topalov yet again shows his superiority amongst the "wizards" of chess.
Here is his final game against Boris Gelfand in which he clinches the title (an impeccable display of endgame finesse):

I think that should have been given blunder status, for sure. Much stronger would have been,

Gives central board control with pressure on the H file pawn, the ability to swing the other rook into the action on the E file.
If white responds with
22. Bf4
then Black has equalized, I feel, with
22. ... Rd5
Good technical end game, but the game was over well before that.
