Utah Part 2

As always, projects were left undone. This time around, I was fortunate enough to be welcomed by a few random groups of climbers throughout the week providing me with a pad. A local introduced me to Yerba Mate (he also mixed this with lemonade.....tasty yup).

I had fun walking around the canyon with my camera and bruising my tips on anything that caught my eye.
The first few nights were very cloudy and the view of the sunsets from LCC were superb. I didn't come close to capturing their awe-inspiring aura (the following picture can only serve as an appetizer).
When I got home, my parents had prepared a fancy meal; quite a bit nicer than my usual rice and beans or frozen pizza.
Last Sunday I sprained my ankle at the Minneapolis Climbing Co-op because I fell and landed on the edge of a pad. Therefore I have been very lazy and just icing it. Right now, it is in decent shape and I expect to be climbing again in about 2 weeks.

[)Vids(]
There is an ongoing influx of well done videos shot by climbers and/or people interested in climbing and adventure. I am now regretting purchasing the Canon T1i instead of the T2i, or now even the T3i, due to the difference in 1080p video. All shoot True HD @ 1920x1080 resolution, however, the T1i does it at 20fps whereas the T2/3i perform this task at 30fps. For the fluidity of motion, at least 30fps is preferred.
Some videos filmed with the Canon 5D Mark II are absolutely stunning. Here are a few of my favorites (not all are restricted to climbing):

My goals for climbing this year:
Have fun and hopefully get stronger from the repetition of grabbing stuff. I don't have any realistic projects in mind for Minnesota's territory, however, if things pan out a couple weeks from now, I will be spending three days in Hueco and I'm looking forward to getting back on Free Willy, Power of Silence, Loaded With Power, Fern Roof, and Choir Boys (all located on North Mountain).
Also,
Drink more water and drink less of this
Some climbers have already been going out to Sandstone to boulder; it is still too cold for me to climb outside. There is a less popular area in Sandstone on the other side of the river than I don't know if many people are aware of. It is worth spending at least one day there because it has the following problems which are enjoyable...

The Boulderer's Essential Mix

It seems like a lot of climbers in the gym have Deadmau5 on their ipods, but for those willing to branch out a bit, I recommend listening to the following ten tracks:

2. Golden Diva - Los Angeles - Flying Lotus

3. When I Look at You - When I Look at You Single - Emalkay
4. Innocence - UKF Dubstep 2010 - Nero
5. S.O.S. - Deepfried Dub - Deepfried Dub

6. Torn Apart - Meds - Mt. Eden
7. Dutch Flowers (Rusko Remix) - Skream! - Skream

8. Hydrology - Hydrology/Contact EP - Glenn Morrison
9. Born to Do it - Fabriclive 37: Caspa and Rusko - Caspa
10. Illmerica - Illmerica - Wolfgang Gartner
